|
課程概述 |
1. 本課程使用的教材為：《實用視聽華語二》（第一課～第七課），盼學生能兼顧「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生不因語言不同而有障礙，並期望學生能透過課程，進一步了解華語及台灣文化。
This course is constructed around the textbook Practical Audio-Visual Chinese II (Lesson 1-7) and is aiming to improve and consolidate students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Besides the four skills, this course would also love to provide a perspective on Taiwanese culture regarding the subject the textbook mentions.
2. 本課程授課語言以中文為主，英文為輔。
The class will be taught in Mandarin, with minimum English only when necessary.

課程目標 |
1. 學生能學習處理日常生活事務的基本表達能力，並能運用課程所學，說明自己的想法。
2. 學生在學習語言的同時，也能了解華人文化、思想與社會現象。
3. 學生能讀、寫正體字，且聽、說兩項能力達到課程標準。 |

課程要求 |
1. 每次上課，請攜帶課本與講義。
Bring all the materials you are supposed to use when you come to class.
2. 上課時，請說中文，不說英文及其他非中文的語言。
Please use Chinese exclusively in class.
3. 上課時，請積極參與課程討論與活動，聽老師和同學的發言與討論。不該做其他和課程無關的事情。
Participating in classroom activities and class discussion is essential. Please do not engage in other things that are not related to the course during class hours.
4. 上課期間，若非本課程需要，請勿使用手機、電腦等電子產品，並請將手機轉為震動或靜音。
Please do not use cell phone, laptop, iPad and any electronic devices during the class (except asked by teacher for class activities). Phones must be set on silent mode during class time.
5. 上課時可以喝水、喝飲料，但是不能吃東西。
Water or other beverages are allowed, but no food is allowed in class.
6. 請尊重老師和同學。如果上課時，發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題、發表歧視言行的情況，教師將視情況打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Be respectful of each other in classroom. Topics discussed in class should be related to the course. If students argue with classmates or the teacher in class, which is effect on the class going on smoothly, the teacher will end the topic anytime. Or, if students talk too much to stray into the topic which is not related to the course, the teacher will also interrupt them anytime.
※ 以上規定列入平時成績，要是違反規定，經老師警告三次後，第四次開始扣分。每次每項扣1分。
All requirements mentioned above are related to the score under “Attendance and Performance”. Any violation will be warned by the teacher in person. Starting from the 4th offense, one point will be deducted each time for the violation of the class requirements.

課堂出席與課程參與 表現 Attendance and Performance |
15% |
1. 每一次上課皆應簽到。
Students must sign their name on the attendance sheet.
2. 準時上課，不可無故遲到或早退。
遲到或早退超過二十分鐘，視為缺席一小時。
Please attend the class on time. Do not leave the class earlier than the scheduled time. Late for class more than 20 minutes or leaving class 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled time will be regarded as a one-hour absence.
3. 要是因故無法出席，應在上課前寫email向老師請假。每個學生一個學期可以有2次缺席（六個小時，含遲到、早退），老師不會扣分，但是請在上課前寫email向老師請假。第七個小時開始，每個小時扣出席成績0.5分。
Please inform the teacher by email in advance if you are unable to attend the class. Students are allowed to have a maximum of 6 hours of excused absence (including late-coming and early-leaving). From the 7th hour on, students will lose 0.5 points per hour.
4. 缺課的人，請在下一次上課前詢問同學當天課程的內容，以及作業和小考的範圍。
For those who are absent, please ask a classmate about what has been taught that day, what the assignment is, and what is going to be covered on the dictation quiz.

作業成績 Homework |
20% |
1. 作業包含造句、寫文章和其他強化能力的作業。
Homework includes making sentences, writing narrations, or other exercise that aims to strengthen language abilities.
2. 請在老師指定的日期交回作業。遲交該份作業扣十分，且應在一週內補交。超過一週以上未交的作業，以0分計算。
All assignments must be handed in on time. 10 points will be deducted for late homework. Assignments not received within one week after the deadline will not be accepted, and students will not get any points.
3. 作業可以手寫，也可以用電腦打字的方式完成。
Homework can be handwritten or typed.

平時考成績 Quizzes and Tests |
20% |
1. 除了期中考試和期末考試以外，每次上課都有聽寫考試。如果沒參加考試，不能補考。期末選最好的15次列入聽寫成績。
The dictation quiz will be given almost every class time. No make-up quiz was provided. The best 15 scores will be picked at the end of the semester. The time of dictations will be listed on NTU COOL, please check the quiz time before the class.
2. 原則上每上完一課有複習考試，複習考試時間列於NTU COOL上，皆為該天上課最後一個小時。考試主要為筆試（含聽力測驗）。若因故無法參加考試，每個人有1次申請補考的機會（需在考試後一週內完成補考）。
A review test will be given for every lesson (including written test and listening comprehension) will be given after every lesson. Time of tests will be listed on NTU COOL. Every student has one chances to apply for a make-up test. The make-up test has to be taken within one week of the original exam date.
